Product Description

This is a stretch-fabric sling on a single sprung hoop, and it goes inside the machine rather than standing beside it. You open it out, lay it in the washer or dryer drum, turn the drum so the washing gathers into it, then bring the two sides together and lift the whole load out in one movement — instead of reaching in a handful at a time and dropping socks on the floor.

The whole load in one lift

The supplier's printed instructions run in four steps: open it by holding the edge, place it inside the washing machine or dryer, rotate the drum and gather all the clothes at once, then put the two sides of the sling together to carry your laundry. That is the point of the thing — one trip from the washer to the dryer to the drawers, with far less bending and reaching.

Four cut-out handles

Four handle slots are cut into the fabric rim, two on each side. Take one in each hand and the sling closes around the washing like a bundle; let go and it drops open into a shallow bowl again so you can tip the load onto the bed or into a drawer.

The size chart shows two discs: Large at 26 in and Small at 21 in across, with the advice to pick the one that best fits your machine. Measure your drum opening before you choose, because the sling needs to sit inside it rather than perch on the rim.
